Evelyn- the Fine Arts Academy
Evie gets to meet her new 4th grade teacher next Monday (August 25th) at the her new school, the Fine Arts Academy. This school is a charter school and has a slightly different format, they cram all the core curriculum in before lunch, then get to do other "artsy" stuff in the afternoon. Currently she is signed up for Violin (taking after her Aunt Jenn), performing arts (drama), visual arts (drawing, painting, pottery), and something else that I can't remember right now. She is excited, but I am nervous about the increased homework.

Wow, tell Evie I am SUPER jealous! They didn't have that stuff when I went to school and would have loved to take painting and pottery! Tell her to stick with the violin too, it's worth it!
