Evelyn gets "image"

This week Dad told the kids it was time to get ready for the new school year. He said they should choose a new "image" (joking, of course) then they pretended what they wanted to be like. Evelyn chose a "rock star." We forgot all about it. Then today, Evelyn asked when we were going back-to-school shopping because she needed to get her knee high leather boots!! We had to explain Dad was joking and only posers get a "new image" every year. She said she gets it, but still wants the boots....
